While I get numerous positive comments about the stocks I identify as potential trades, many visitors to my site say that although the information is interesting, it isn’t a lot of practical use to them because they don’t understand charting and hence don’t know how to exit a trade.

The second issue is that a number of my Stocks to Watch are short term pattern trades and most of my readers don’t want the risk of the roller coaster ride this type of trading often sees. Most want secure, long-term investments that are easy for them to manage while having the potential for good returns.

I’ve created a portfolio of shares that I think have the potential to be long-term investments which is managed using the Trendline Trading techniques outlined in my educational material. The position of the portfolio is updated each Friday with any trading decisions actioned at the open of the following week’s market.

I’ve assumed the portfolio was purchased on 8th November 2020 and subject to a 10% stop loss. Each week purchasers of my educational material or mentoring service receive an update explained the pros and cons of each trade and its progress. Each of the stocks in the portfolio will have analysis available on my Stocks to Watch page.

The portfolio information is purely educational and not a recommendation to buy or sell any particular share. Readers are responsible for their own investment decisions which should be made after discussion with their financial adviser. Investing in the sharemarket incurs material risk, including loss of capital, and sharecharting.com.au accepts no liability for losses incurred by the use of techniques described in this educational material.
